POLITICAL MOVEMENTS

After 1945, civil rights movements have slowly but steadily emerged in many European countries. The main political demands included recognition of the genocide, opposition to continued discrimination, the preservation of the Romani language and the granting of rights as an independent national minority or European minority. There was also transnational exchange and cooperation between the organizations.
