Remembering with literature
The literature of Romani and Sinti people has been published both in the Romanes language and in the various national languages of the states in which the people lived. Accordingly, the works are also to be understood in the context of the historical and social living conditions in these countries. Nevertheless, the experience of genocide has been literarily processed both transnationally and transgenerationally.
